Our Team
Darren Cuthbert, MD, MPH
Co-founder & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Cuthbert is an Emergency Physician with an extensive background in Public Health, Epidemiology, Emergency Medical Services, Global Health, and Expeditionary Medicine. Serving as the Chief Medical Officer as well as co-founder of ELEMED™, he leads a national team of seasoned healthcare professionals, dedicated to providing the highest level of quality service for our patients.
Dr. Cuthbert received his undergraduate education from Rutgers University. He then earned his Medical Doctorate and Master’s Degrees in Public Health and Epidemiology from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He then returned to Rutgers University to obtain his residency training in Emergency Medicine, where he continues to work as an Associate Professor. Dr. Cuthbert has published numerous articles, abstracts, papers and presentations on various topics within medicine and public health. He has received publications within The Journal of Emergency Medicine, Military Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and many more. He also served as a Captain and Emergency Physician within the United States Army Reserves. Dr. Cuthbert continues to remain active in various organizations dedicated to the expansion of healthcare.
Michael D. Decker
Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations
Mr. Decker joined ELEMED™ in November 2022 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations. Mike is a Gold EFFIE® Award winning leader and innovator in business and consumer brand and digital performance marketing. He has held senior level leadership positions in both publicly traded and privately owned companies. He also has substantial consultative experience at digital marketing and advertising agencies in a broad range of business categories over his 30-year career in marketing communications and operations.
Mr. Decker has led B2B and consumer marketing efforts for publicly held, international brands such as Energy Focus® (NASDAQ: EFOI), Medifast® (NYSE: MED), Barnes & Noble® (NYSE: BNEI), Praxair (NYSE: PX), and Hilton’s Waldorf=Astoria Collection® (NYSE: HLT) plus privately held Cumberland Packing Corp.’s CPG brands Sweet’N Low® and Sugar In The Raw®. He earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Psychology from Bucknell University.
Ali Rashidbaigi, MD, FCAP
Director of Laboratory Medicine, Product Officer
Dr. Rashidbaigi, serves as the director of laboratory operations and product officer for ELEMED™. Holding board certification in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, Dr. Rashidbaigi is designated as a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology. As a pathologist, his expertise is understanding disease processes, how to diagnosis, and manage disease according to evidence based guidelines and protocols.
Dr. Rashidbaigi is a Rutgers Medical School assistant professor and a pathologist at Monmouth Medical Center. He served as interim chair and laboratory director of Monmouth Medical Center-Southern Campus. His training at University of Pennsylvania, SUNY Upstate Medical Center, and RWJ-Barnabas Health are the keys to his success. He is a member of several professional organizations including the College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology, and United States & Canadian Academy of Pathologists. Dr. Rashidbaigi supervises and administers the laboratory activities of ELEMED™ such as regulation and oversight, laboratory statistical considerations, analytics, implementation, and quality management.
